You should follow this guidance if you want to: 

  • apply for grant support to create a new woodland
  • comply with the Forestry (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 for afforestation
  • get approval from Scottish Forestry for a woodland compensatory planting scheme. This is required by a condition of a planning permission. Y
