Accessing our data
To make the most of the Open Data Portal you'll need access to Geographic Information System (GIS) software. You can then:
- visualise and analyse the data
- combine it with your own data or data you've sourced from other organisations

- Forestry Grant Scheme options and claims
- Forestry Grant Scheme target and eligibility areas
- plans and felling
- a range of surveys and inventories
The portal gives you the opportunity to explore data in more detail than is possible in the Scottish Forestry Map Viewer.
